  1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Mike Peterson. Public Notice had been given and agenda's were available.

  2. ROLL CALL: Lori Parks, Steve Deal, Jim Owens, John Nechkash, Greg Clerkin and Mike Peterson Absent: Jim Nelson

  3. Motion by J Nechkash/L Parks to approve the November 5th, 2007 board meeting. Motion carried.

  4. No Informal Public Comment

  5. 7:04 P.M Public Hearing – Special Assessments for Public Improvements in Savannah Oaks Subdivision. No one appeared for the Public Hearing

  6. Motion by S Deal/G Clerkin to approve Resolution 07-10 for Final Special Assessments for Public Improvements in Savannah Oaks Subdivision. Motion carried.

  7. Motion by J Nechkash/S Deal to approve Operator's License for Jean Mcgraw for American Legion Post #433. Motion carried.

  8. Motion by J Nechkash/J Owens to approve Operator's License for Antonio Williams and Elaine Gutzmer for Stop-N-Go. Motion carried.

  9. Motion by J Nechkash/L Parks to approve Operator's License for Kieran Kinney for Thousand Island. Motion carried.

10. Police Chief's monthly report. New Lazer. Board would like monthly report of revenue/costs of Municipal Court. Discussion on cameras/police at Barneveld School

11. Motion by M Peterson/S Deal to approve vacation carry over for Barneveld Public Library Employees to be used no later than March 31st, 2008. Motion carried.

12. Motion by J Nechkash/G Clerkin to renew contract to store salt at the Town of Brigham salt shed. Motion carried.

13. Motion by J Nechkash/S Deal to table consideration of paying/not paying village employees who are members of recognized emergency response teams when responding to calls during normal working hours until April meeting. Motion carried.

14. Motion by J Owens/S Deal to set Village Caucus for January 7, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Motion carried.

15. Motion by L Parks/J Nechkash to approve Resolution 07-11 nominating 2008-2009 Election Workers. Motion carried.

16. Motion by G Clerkin/J Owens to pay bills as presented. Motion carried.

17. Motion by J Nechkash/L Parks to approve Resolution 07-12 Certifying the Village of Barneveld Corporate Boundary Limits. Motion carried.

18. Board reviewed 2007 mill rate for taxes.

19. Motion by J Nechkash/L Parks to appoint Mike Peterson and Steve Deal to attend a Special Meeting on December 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Iowa County Courthouse regarding the formation of an Economic Development Corporation in Iowa County. Motion carried.

20. Barneveld does not meet requirements for 404-Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.

21. Mike Peterson thanked everyone who helped make the Open House a great success and

updated board on office space issue.

22. Motion by J Nechkash/M Peterson to adjourn at 8:58 p.m. Motion carried.
