VILLAGE OF BARNEVELD BOARD MEETING

1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Mike Peterson. Public Notice had been given and agenda’s were available.

2. ROLL CALL: Jim Nelson, Lori Parks, Jim Owens, John Nechkash, Steve Deal, Greg Clerkin and Mike Peterson

3. Pledge of Allegiance

4. Motion by S Deal/J Nechkash to approve the minutes of the December 3^rd, 2007 board meeting. Motion carried.

5. John T. Forbes voiced concerns regarding snow on the sidewalks on the overpass and the medians by the Bank and Library.

6. Bart Nies - Delta 3 Engineering gave presentation on his Company

7. Motion by J Nelson/J Nechkash to approve an Operator's License for Sarah Cutts for Lucky's and to deny the Operator's License for Dustin Kruser. Motion carried.

8. Motion by J Nechkash/J Owens to approve Comp Time carry-over for Mark Hurlbert. Motion carried.

9. Motion by S Deal/L Parks to approve Resolution 08-01 Acceptance of the Public Improvements in Savannah Oaks Subdivision. Motion carried.

10. Committee/Commission Reports

11. Motion by J Owens/J Nelson to approve the bills as presented. Motion carried.

12. Police Chief Report: Police Department received a $250 grant from Walmart and update on School cameras was given.

13. 7:33 p.m. Village Caucus was called to order by President Mike Peterson. Motion by J Nechkash/J Owens to nominate Deb Forbes as a teller. Motion carried. Motion by J Nelson/J Nechkash to nominate Brian Schneider as teller. Motion carried.
